28th, 2010:
Ch. Shiraz Dreamweaver, JC
and Ch. Shiraz Khasaad represented Shiraz Salukis in the
Breeder's Showcase at the Santa Barbara Kennel Club. We were elated
that our pair received a Select Award from Sighthound breeder-judge
Bo Bengston! The competition was extremely high with 35 pairs of
entries. Special "thanks" to Suzanne Forsyth, Jamora Salukis, for
her expert handling of Eve in this competition! We are very honored
by Mr. Bengston's recognition of or breeding program!
August 1st, 2010:
We had a day to remember! At the
American Saluki Association's "Celebration" in conjunction with the
Lompoc Valley Kennel Club Show in Lompoc, California, Saluki
Breeder-Judge, Roberto Forsoni, Kan Ya Ma Kan Salukis, Italy,
awarded Shiraz Khasaad Winners Dog and Best of Winners from
the Bred by Exhibitor Class, and his litter sister, Shiraz
Khassandra, Winners Bitch and an Award of Merit from the Open
Class! These wins completed both Khasaad's and Khassie's AKC
Championships! Congratulations proud co-owners, Jak, Kathy, and
Thais Anderson! Also at this show, Khasaad and Khassie's litter
brother, Shiraz Khadaan, won a huge Open Dog Class and was
awarded Reserve Winners Dog! Congratulations to proud co-owners,
Kathy and Randy Hawk! And not to be outdone by her Aga Khan puppies,
proud mother, BIS/MBISS Ch. Enchanted Shiraz Dreamcatcher,
JC, won the Veterans Bitch class AND Select Bitch Award! Sedona's
daughter from her Globetrotter litter, SBIS Ch. Shiraz
Dreamweaver, JC, was also awarded an Award of Merit! Sedona also
went on to win the Brood Bitch class! What an exciting day, indeed!
Special "thanks" to Suzanne Forsyth, Cindy Taylor, and Kathy Hawk
for their expert handling of Khassie, Sedona and Eve!

July 18th, 2010:
Shiraz KhanD'lyla, was
awarded Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed over
group-winning competition at the Del Monte Kennel Club Show by Judge
Paula Hartinger! D'lyla's best friend and kennel-mate, Z'Bee's Time
of Your Life at Mazada "Tattu" was also Winners Dog! Congratulations
proud owner Cindy Taylor!

Association under Judge Lee Reasin!

JC "Eve"was awarded Best of Breed under Sighthound
Breeder-Judge Robert Stein at the Channel City Kennel Club Show!

June 6th, 2010:
Kharish was awarded Best of
Breed by Judge William Sahloff at the Pasadena Kennel Club show.
Kharish went on to win a Group 3rd under Sighthound Breeder
Specialist Judge Dr. James Silers! What an exciting day!!!!!

Ch. Shiraz Kharish was
shown for the first time since he became an AKC Champion in January.
He was awarded a Select Award by Breeder-Judge Francis Farrar,
Sediki Salukis.
May 31st, 2010:
Eve was awarded Best of
Breed by Judge Professor Douglas Taylor at the San Fernando Kennel
Club show.

May 30th, 2010:
Eve
was awarded Best of Breed at the Antelope Valley Kennel Club Show
under Judge Gary Doerge. Eve went on to win a Group 4 under
Sighthound Breeder-Judge Helen Stein! What an exciting day!

Eve was again selected Best of Breed at the Lake Matthews

Shiraz Khassandra was beautifully shown by her proud owner,
Kathy Anderson, today. Khassie was awarded Winners Bitch for her
THIRD major under sighthound specialist judge Randall Tincher.

It was a “Family Affair” at the San Angeles Saluki Club Specialty
Show! Sighthound specialist judge Stephen McElhone from Australia
awarded Shiraz Khasaad Winners Dog, Best of Winners, AND
Award of Merit from the Bred by Exhibitor class! Litter brother,
Shiraz Khadaan, won a huge Open Dog class and was awarded
Reserve Winners Dog! Congratulations, proud owner-handler, Kathy

Litter sister, Shiraz Khassandra, shown to perfection by
Suzanne Forsyth, was awarded Winners Bitch and also received an
Award of Merit! Congratulations proud owners, Jack, Kathy, and Thais
Anderson, Bahia Salukis! And the icing on the cake was Shiraz
KhanD’lyla’s 3rd placement in another very competitive, large
Open class! Congratulations proud owner-handler, Cindy Taylor,
Masada Salukis! Needless to say, we were thrilled that our
SedonaKhans received such high awards! Special “Thanks” to Suzanne
Forsyth, Kim Anselmo, and Cindy Taylor for helping us show Khassie,
Eve, and Kharish!

and 28, 2010:
Eve was again awarded Best of Breed both days at the Canada
Del Oro Kennel Club shows under judges Anne Bolus and Francis
Colonna.

Our dear Ch. Shiraz Global Storm passed over the Rainbow
Bridge today. He was our “Heart Dog” and we miss him terribly. We
are grateful to have his children and grandchildren in our lives to
help keep his presence alive.

January 20, 2010:
Shiraz Kharish was awarded Winners Dog for his final major
and achieved his AKC Championship at the prestigious Palm Springs
Kennel Club show! The judge was sighthound specialist Dr. James
Sillers.
