On December 7th,
Our BIS/MBISS Ch.
Enchanted Shiraz Dreamcatcher, JC (Sedona) was awarded Best
of Breed over several top ten specials competition by Mrs.
Patricia Mowbray-Morgan at the Malibu Kennel Club Show.
Sedona then went on to win a Group 3rd from among most of
the top Hounds in the country under Mrs. J. Andrena Brunotte
from Canada! Needless to say, we were thrilled!

On November 2, 2008, our new AKC
champion Qirmizi Global Intrigue was awarded Best of Breed
over Top 10 specials her first time shown as a special under
Sighthound Specialist judge Robert Stein!

On November 1, 2008, Qirmizi Global
Intrigue completed her AKC Championship by winning Winners
Bitch, Best of Winners, AND Best of Breed over Top 10 specials
at the San Gabriel Valley Kennel Club show under Sighthound
Specialist judge Helen Stein!

On October 26, 2008, Qirmizi Global
Intrigue was again awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at
the Kennel Club of Riverside Show under Sighthound Specialist
judge Mrs. Barbara Rupert!
On October 25, 2008,
Ch. Shiraz Dreamweaver, "Eve", was awarded Best of Breed over Top
10 specials at the Kennel Club of Riverside Show under Sighthound
Specialist judge Mrs. Denise Arlynne Ross. At the same show,
Qirmizi Global Intrigue, "Mattie", was also Winner Bitch and Best
of Winners!

On
September 28, 2008,
Mattie went to Hollywood and
became a new "Star"! At the Burbank Kennel Club show under Judge
June Penta, Mattie was awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for
2 more points toward her Amercian Championship Title!

On September 14, 2008,
Mattie (Qirmizi Global Intrigue) is
shown winning Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite
Sex over specials competition at Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club on
September 14, 2008 for a major win under Sighthound Specialist Judge
Betty Richards.

On September 7, 2008, Harley won another allbreed Best in
Show In Högbo Bruk, Sweden. The entry
was 2900 and the judges were Nenne Runsten, from Sweden and Angel Garach Domech, from Spain.

On August 17, 2008, Nord Ch NV-07 Shiraz
California Dreamin' won Best in Show in Norrköping, Sweden over 3000 entries. Judge was
Fernando M Rodrigues, from Portugal.
On June 15,
2008, Sedona again won Best of Breed at the Bahia Sur Kennel
Club Show under judge Judy Webb, and a Hound Group 2 under judge
John Shelton!!
On June 14,
2008, Sedona returned to the show ring just 11 weeks after
delivering her nine SedonaKhans at the Bahia Sur Kennel Club Show in
Chula Vista, California to win Best of Breed under judge John
Shelton, Hound Group 1st under judge Judy Webb, and BEST IN SHOW
under judge Judi Park!!!


On June 8, 2008, Harley,
Nord Ch NV-07 Shiraz
California Dreamin' won Best in Show at Vänersborg international
allbreed show, Sweden, with 2900 dogs entered. The breed was judged by Ewa
Nielsen, from Sweden, the Sighthoundgroup was judged by Dan Ericsson, from Sweden and BIS by
Rony Doedijns, from Holland.

On June 1, 2008, at
the international allbreed
show in Norrköping, Sweden, Harley, Nord Ch NV-07 Shiraz
California Dreamin' was BOB under Henrik Johansson, from Sweden. "Harley" later won the group
under Ray Lindholm and was second Best in Show under Dan Ericcson, from
Sweden.


On May 25, 2008, at the allbreed show in Österbybruk, Sweden, NV-07 Nord Ch Shiraz
California Dreamin' won it all! Best of Breed, Group first and BEST IN
SHOW! "Harley" performed fantastic and took the breath away from everyone who
was watching him in the final. The breed was judged by Christina Roseen Lundström, the group by Per Lundström
and Best in Show was judged by Nina Karlsdotter.


On March 30,
2008, Shiraz Invincible Dream ("Max") went Winners Dog, Best of
Winners , AND Best of Breed over specials for a MAJOR at the Sand
and Sea Kennel Club. Judge was Nancy Bodine! Congratulations,
Jennifer Rimerman, proud owner and handler!!!!
On March 28,
2008, the nine "SedonaKhans" were born....5 boys and 4 girls!

On March 15, 2008, at the international allbreed show in Malmö,
Sweden, NV-07 Shiraz California Dreamin' won the CC,
CACIB and was BOB under Stephen Seymore, from Australia. Harley was later
best in group under judge Lotte Jörgensen (Boxadan afghans), from Denmark.

On February
25, 2008, Sedona was ultrasounded and confirmed to be in whelp
with 8 (or possibly 9!) puppies!!! Anticipated due date is March 28,
2008!
On February
18, 2008, Shiraz Every Girl's Dream was again awarded Reserve
Winners Dog at the Central Arizona Saluki Association show under
judge Donovan Thompson. His litter sister, Ch. Shiraz Dreamweaver
("Eve") also won an Award of Merit at this show.
On February
17, 2008, Shiraz Every Girl's Dream was awarded Reserve Winners
Dog at the Saluki League of Southern Arizona's specialty under
breeder-judge Carole Beyerle.
February 10,
2008, Max, who was shown only one of the days over the SCOA
Eastern Regional and Empire Saluki Club Specialty shows, won Reserve
Winners Dog to a 5-point major under breeder-judge Yvette Ally.

On February 2, 2008, Max
was again won Winners Dog, Best of Winners, AND Best of Breed at the
Boardwalk Kennel Club under breeder specialist, Chris Abraham!
On February 1, 2008,
Shiraz Invincible Dream ("Max") was chosen Winners Dog, Best of
Winners, AND Best of Breed at the Boardwalk Kennel Club under judge
Gretchen Bernardi! Congratuations, Jennifer Rimerman, proud owner/handler!
On January
28, 2008, Sedona was bred via frozen semen surgical implant to
Multi Champion Mata Salamata's Aga Khan. Thank you, Ute Lennartz,
for this exciting breeding opportunity! Sedona then began her "Maternity
Leave" from shows.
On January
20, 2008, Sedona won the breed again, sweeping the weekend, at
the Ventura Dog Fanciers Association show under judge Charles Olvis.
On January
19, 2008, Sedona was again chosen Best of Breed at the San
Fernando Kennel Club Show under judge Frank Sabella.
On January
18, 2008, MBISS Ch. Enchanted Shiraz Dreamcatcher, JC ("Sedona")
was Best of Breed under judge Frank McCartha at the Simi Valley
Kennel Club show in Ventura, California.
On January
5, 2008, Qirmizi Global Intrigue ("Mattie") again was chosen
Reserve Winners Bitch to a major at the Kennel Club of Palm Springs
show under judge Monica Canestrini.
On
January 4, 2008, Shiraz Every Girl's Dream ("Kaz") won another
major AND an Award of Merit over Specials competition under
Sighthound Specialist Chris Kaiser at the Inland Empire Hound Club
in Palm Springs. What a great way to start the year!!! At this same
show, Kaz' kennelmate, Qirmizi Global Intrigue ("Mattie"), was
Reserve Winners Bitch!
